If this is your first time installing hair tinsel, give yourself plenty of practice. Tying in is a aquired skill, and takes practice.
1. Take your glimmer strand and fold it in half creating a loop, you can stagger the ends making one end longer, for longer hair. Next, select a hair along the part line of your hair style. Select two strands of hair close together if hair is fine. Hold hair away from head.
2. Take the glimmer and wrap around the hair, open the loop and pull both ends of glimmer through loop. Pull on glimmer ends to tighten slip knot to hair.
3. Slide the slip knot on the hair to the base of the scalp. Take one end of the glimmer and tie a knot with the hair strand, take the other end of the glimmer and tie a knot to the hair strand.
4. Take both ends of the glimmer and tug slightly to lock glimmer in place. Repeat tying more knots from hair to glimmer to secure even more. If you pull on the glimmer and it slides on the hair, try again.
